Pure-Rust SHA-256 compression of a single 512-bit block.

Matches the in-circuit compression exactly. Used for prover-side witness generation and as the test reference.

§Arguments

  • state_in: the 8-word input state, one 32-bit word per entry.
  • m: the 16-word message block, one 32-bit word per entry.

§Returns

The updated 8-word state.
