NaiveProverChannel

Struct NaiveProverChannel

Source
pub struct NaiveProverChannel<'a, F, Challenger_>
where F: Field, Challenger_: Challenger,
{ /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A naive prover channel that writes full polynomial data to the transcript.

This channel wraps a ProverTranscript and provides oracle operations by writing the entire polynomial coefficients to the transcript. This is useful for testing protocols without the complexity of FRI/BaseFold.

§Type Parameters

  • F: The field type
  • Challenger_: The Fiat-Shamir challenger

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a, F, Challenger_> NaiveProverChannel<'a, F, Challenger_>
where F: Field, Challenger_: Challenger,

Source

pub const fn new( transcript: &'a mut ProverTranscript<Challenger_>, oracle_specs: Vec<OracleSpec>, ) -> Self

Creates a new naive prover channel.

§Arguments
  • transcript - The prover transcript for Fiat-Shamir (borrowed mutably)
  • oracle_specs - Specifications for each oracle to be committed
Source

pub const fn transcript(&self) -> &ProverTranscript<Challenger_>

Returns a reference to the underlying transcript.

Source

pub fn finish(self)

Consumes the channel, asserting all oracle specs have been consumed.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<F, P, Challenger_> IOPProverChannel<P, GlobalAllocator> for NaiveProverChannel<'_, F, Challenger_>
where F: Field, P: PackedField<Scalar = F>, Challenger_: Challenger,

Source§

fn finalize_oracle(&mut self, _oracle: Self::Oracle, _buffer: FieldBuffer<P>)

Drops the buffer.

send_oracle already wrote the message to the transcript, so this channel needs no copy of it to open the oracle.

impl<F, Challenger_> IPProverChannel<F> for NaiveProverChannel<'_, F, Challenger_>
where F: Field, Challenger_: Challenger,

Source§

fn send_one(&mut self, elem: F)

Sends a single field element to the verifier.
Source§

fn send_many(&mut self, elems: &[F])

Sends multiple field elements to the verifier.
Source§

fn observe_one(&mut self, val: F)

Observes a single field element, feeding it into the Fiat-Shamir state.
Source§

fn observe_many(&mut self, vals: &[F])

Observes multiple field elements, feeding them into the Fiat-Shamir state.
Source§

fn sample(&mut self) -> F

Samples a random challenge. Read more
Source§

fn send_public_claim(&mut self, elem: F)

Sends a value the verifier could compute for itself, as advice. Read more
Source§

fn sample_many(&mut self, n: usize) -> Vec<F>

Samples n random challenges.
Source§

fn sample_array<const N: usize>(&mut self) -> [F; N]

Samples a fixed-size array of random challenges.
